Rockbox Theater Venue in Fredericksburg, TX

Located within easy driving distance of Kerrville, and less than two hours from Pflugerville, San Marcos and Spring Branch, you will find the Rockbox Theater in the town of Fredericksburg. Rooted in the music-hall tradition, the Rockbox plays host to many traveling bands and entertainment, in a family-friendly environment. Tribute shows to artists as diverse as The Beatles, Shania Twain, and The Beach Boys have all graced the stage at this historic venue in the last few months. Our own Texas-based Howl2GO Dueling Piano show from Howl at the Moon made our first appearance here in July of 2020.

This unique theater is actually housed in a former furniture warehouse. A huge conversion project in 2007 transformed this industrial space into a state-of-the-art performance venue and a jewel in the crown of Gillespie County. As well as hosting touring artists, the theater is available to rent for events, a perfect space for corporate events or presentations, a conference or even a wedding celebration.
